CCNA Automation Course Overview

Cisco has officially rebranded its popular DevNet Associate certification to “CCNA Automation”, bringing it under the core CCNA umbrella. This change reflects the growing importance of automation in modern networking jobs, and if you’re planning a career in networking, cloud, or DevOps, this is the certification you need to stay future-ready.

Many institutes still refer to it as DevNet or break it into separate modules, first asking you to learn Python, and then charging extra for automation training. But we’ve designed our CCNA Automation Course to be complete, integrated, and beginner-friendly. You don’t need to enrol in two separate courses here; you learn network automation + Python + Ansible basics, all in one training, and that too at no additional cost.

Our CCNA automation training is 100% aligned with Cisco’s official syllabus and includes hands-on labs, real project simulations, and guided practice with Cisco APIs, Python scripts, and network tools like Ansible.

Whether you’re a CCNA-trained engineer looking to level up or a fresher aiming to enter the world of programmable networks, this is the course that bridges the gap between traditional networking and the future of automation.

What is Network Automation?

Network automation makes use of applications and scripting to configure, manage, test and operate network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls and wireless controllers. This is done without logging into each device manually.

Network engineers no longer have to perform repetitive and time-consuming CLI commands. Now, network engineers can implement automation using Python, Ansible, REST APIs, and Cisco’s programmable interfaces to fully automate the configuration of devices, software updates, and policy deployments.

Automation in networking is not just the future; it is already being implemented in cloud data centers, enterprise networks, and service provider networks. To increase efficiency, reduce operational costs, and eliminate human errors, companies have begun the rapid transition towards automation.

If you’re still working only with CLI and manual configs, you risk falling behind. That’s why Cisco introduced the CCNA Automation certification to prepare networking professionals for this transition into software-defined and programmable networks.

Why Learn CCNA Automation in 2025?

The way networks are built and managed has drastically changed. Today, employers are not just looking for someone who can configure VLANs and OSPF; they want network engineers who can write Python scripts, automate deployments, and use APIs.

Here’s why enrolling in the CCNA Automation Course makes sense in 2025 and beyond:

Cisco officially transitioned DevNet Associate into CCNA Automation, recognising automation as core to networking roles.

It combines networking fundamentals with Python programming, REST APIs, and Ansible basics, the exact skills required in next-gen IT roles.

Job demand is growing rapidly for automation-ready engineers in both traditional IT firms and modern cloud-first companies.

CCNA Automation bridges the gap between network engineers and DevOps engineers.

It’s your first step toward roles like Network Automation Engineer, NetDevOps, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, and more.

This isn’t just another training; it’s your opportunity to future-proof your career and move ahead of your peers stuck in legacy roles.
